According to the official website, the third volume of Yozakura Quartet: Hoshi no Umi OVA was announced to be released on November 9th. It will be the final volume of the OVA series. | The manga surprised me at how funny it was, but then again, I have no complaints with 'ecchi' series most of the time. I'll definitely watch the OVA, I just hope that the anime series doesn't disappoint, because a series like this could be pretty decent or end up being terrible. |

| I dont expect much about the anime since they edited a lot of events from the manga. Meaning, they'll rape the ending with a half-assed one. Making a hentai OVA will make up for it X9 In the end, following the manga would be the best option to get the real ending (not that the manga is getting an axe though) On a side note, |

There's trailer of the OVA on youtube. It's supposed to contain two different stories. One will be about when Mercelida went to the Realm of Humans & met Naoya when he was 13 years old. The other looks to be about when Zelda first became Astarotte's bodyguard. *just found the video for it. |

| Very interesting though the manga showed a flashback of Zelda becoming Lotte's bodyguard a flashback was never shown(at least not yet) of Naoya and Mercelida's first encounter (other than brief glimpses). So I guess at least once the anime ones up on the manga. I am abit more excited into watching this now. I originally thought the plot for the OVA would just be another random thing going on but instead it focuses on certain origins. |

The anime was originally named "Lotte no Omocha" too but they "updated" the title to "Astallote no Omocha" when they released the second PV. Some people have speculated that the title was changed to avoid confusion with the Japanese Lotte shopping and food conglomerate. |

| At the end of the OVA it said "To be Continued..." Meaning there will either be more OVAs, or there may even be a Second Season of 'Astarotte no Omocha!' - I hope there will be; sure, there was a happy ending and they got reunited in the end, but the story doesn't really feel 'complete' yet. |
