HAMILTON, N.Y. (3/16/11) – The Colgate University Department of Athletics announced this afternoon that Pamela Bass will resign from her position as head women's basketball coach.

“I am very proud of the growth of the program,” said Bass, who has served as head coach for the past four years. “We have upgraded the program in a number of ways, in particular in recruiting, and I am looking forward to seeing the program flourish in the years ahead.”

During Bass' four seasons, three student-athletes earned all-Patriot League honors. In 2009, Tricia Oakes was named to the all-Rookie team, while the following season Jhazmine Lynch became the first women's basketball player in Colgate history to be named Rookie of the Year. This season Tayler Wejnert was named to the all-Patriot League second team.
