Earlier last week we asked you to share your favorite virtual machine application, and then highlighted the five most popular picks. Now we're back to highlight your favorite.
VirtualBox, with a pleasing free-as-in-beer pricetag and a slew of features, led the pack with a mighty 50% of the vote. VMware followed close behind with a solid second place (30%). Popular cross-platform—but best known for their Mac software—solution Parallels pulled in 12%, followed by Windows Virtual PC (4%), and QEMU (2%).
