I agree it was a little overdone, but Clain wasn't just randomly labeled a pervert. Really only Enri referred to him as such, and only because she had feelings for him and was upset that he didn't appear to return them, and so called him a pervert all the time. It wasn't wasted time (at least, not the first couple of times), it was character development. With that being said this looks awful. I mean, the concept sounds boring and unoriginal and I'm really uninterested by the character designs. That doesn't mean it can't be good, but the best I can see it being is just another supernatural high school (also ecchi) anime. Of course, I haven't read the light novels so I can't be sure? I guess I'll plan not to watch it and then if everyone says it's really good I'll give it a try.
