WSU Will Not Renew Carla Taylor's Contract

OGDEN, Utah – Weber State University announced Wednesday it will not renew
the contract of head women's basketball coach Carla Taylor.
“We thank Coach Taylor for her many years of service to the university,” said Weber State Director of Athletics Jerry Bovee.
Bovee said the university will be forming a search committee shortly to begin the process of hiring a new coach.
The decision comes just days after the women's team finished a 7-21 campaign (3-13 in the Big Sky Conference)
and did not reach the Big Sky Tournament for the fourth year in row.
Taylor just completed her 23rd season as head coach of the Wildcats, compiling a 308–341 (.474) overall (180-170 (.514) Big Sky) record since 1988. Taylor also played for the Weber State women's team from 1980-84.
