Hakone Town Introduces a Public Wrapped Car of Ayanami Rei

According to Town News, the town office of Hakone has introduced an official electric vehicle with Ayanami Rei's picture printed on it. Hakone is the model town of Evangelion series.

It will be used for public car-sharing for tourists as well as the public services of the officials.

New movies sure help them get even younger population to watch that classic.
Its nice of them to pick Rei for contribution of their town, hopefully they will earn money from it, Rei is awesome. :3

When I was in Hakone in November 2010, the place already had quite a lot of Evangelion promotion. No, surprise seeing this being made as well.

Makes sense, Rei fits the Yamato Nashiko image more.
By that, i mean she kinda LOOKS the part ('cept for the blue hair) whereas Asuka is the personification of gaijin. Still like Asuka better though XD
