Ryuta Tasaki's Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider: OOO & W feat. Skull: Movie Taisen Core opened as the new #1 film. It earned the equivalent of US$4,396,301 on 274 screens on Box Office Mojo's chart.
The live-action film adaptation of the Space Battleship Yamato anime franchise dropped from #2 to #3 in its third week on Kogyo Tsushinsha's box office chart. On Box Office Mojo's chart, Yamato it dropped from #1 to #4 and added US$2,797,880 on 440 screens to its total of US$27,141,462.
Bleach: Jigoku-hen, the fourth film based on Tite Kubo's Bleach supernatural manga, fell from #6 to #11 in its third week. It brought in US$488,725 on 233 screens for a gross-to-date of US$4,897,847.
Heartcatch Precure! Hana no Miyako de Fashion Show…Desu ka!? and Umizaru: The Last Message are no longer listed on either chart.
