The Fall conference of the Western New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania (WNYNWPA) Chapter of the Fulbright Association will be held at the University at Buffalo on November 6. The conference will feature a keynote address by Ms. Reha Mallory, coordinator of Fulbright-Hays Group Project Abroad-Short Term and Seminars Abroad programs for the International and Foreign Language Education (IFLE) Office at the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Postsecondary Education. Her address will highlight innovations and recent changes that have taken place in the Fulbright group program, and the impact that it has on public education.
The conference is open to undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and professionals interested in applying for a Fulbright grant to study abroad in the 2017-2018 academic year, as well as community persons interested in learning more about the valuable contributions that Fulbright provides.
