Malone University women's basketball head coach Lori Wynn has resigned her position to be effective at the end of the current season, Malone Athletic Director
Charlie Grimes announced today.
Wynn, who will conclude her eighth season as head coach for the Pioneers, will coach her final regular-season contest in a Feb. 19 game at Mt. Vernon Nazarene University. She has led Malone to a pair of winning seasons (in 04-05 and 06-07) and to two AMC playoff appearances (in 04-05 and 05-06). In addition, Wynn's tenure at Malone was the second-longest among Malone women's basketball head coaches (eight previous coaches), second only to Kathy Haas' 10 seasons as head coach (1991-2001).
Malone is currently seeking applications for the full-time position of women's basketball head coach. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Please send resume and cover letter to Athletic Director
