The director of Puella Magi Madoka Magica has spoken of his delight at seeing ordinary bishoujo schoolgirls speaking of Madoka on the train.
Madoka series director Yukihiro Miyamoto tweets with a report of the happy event:
“When I was on the train two high school girls started talking about Madoka in front of me. I was absolutely delighted! And they were both total hotties! And they were both ordinary high school girls!”
Just what it was they were discussing is not mentioned, but it would likely be safe to wager it had something to do with the evil of QB or the high death count the show is becoming known for…

The tweet clearly attributes the remark to Inukare (http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%8A%87%E5%9B%A3%E3%82%A4%E3%83%8C%E3%82%AB%E3%83%AC%E3%83%BC – also on Madoka’s staff) rather than being meant as a first-person report by Miyamoto.
I don’t care, as long as homuhomu finally gets to ravage Madoka.

Now…call me crazy, but this sounds like an incredibly dangerous thing to say in Japan. Especially someone of his position.
