According to the official website, the executive committee has announced part of the winners of the 5th Seiyuu Awards. The rest of the winners will be announced on March 5th.
She totally deserves it. She had so many great roles lately ...
- Maria from Arakawa
- Beelzebub xD
- Celty from DRRR <3
- Ayane from Kimi ni Todoke
- Kanbaru from Bakemonogatari
- Angel Beats!'s Iwasawa
etc.
Wow...congratz to her! And to everyone else who got a prize. She? Definitely deserves the prize since she has quite a great number of main roles in many animes (popular or not - Arakawa, Beelzebub, HOTD, Kimi ni Todoke and many more others)...and hey, there are many other great seiyus out there...we just need to find them xD
Well deserved. He role as Shinku, Lag Seeing and Celty Sturluson are amazing. She can change her voice over a wide range of characters: from teenage boys to young boys,
from young girls to mature women and even babies (Baby Beel from Beelzebub).
bla bla bla
The endless debate between fans and haters. At one point, after spending a lot of time on MAL, you just realize it's totally pointless.

She definitely deserves it. A great seiyuu all around.
To those disappointed that your favorite seiyuu didn't win, don't forget there still is the lead and support awards. Hmm, are there any provisions that says a person can't win more than one award? ;)

I don't recognize any of the other seiyuus listed...
Neither did I. </ashamed>
Looking it up, seems awards were given out to Luffy, Naruto, and Detective Conan.
