| According to Anime!Anime!, Japanese movie producer Micott & Basara Inc. filed for bankruptcy on April 21st. Micott produced Appleseed (2004) and Appleseed Saga Ex Machina, and has been producing the upcoming anime Appleseed XIII. Their business had stumbled over a lawsuit on the failed production of Appleseed Genesis in 2008. They tried to recover their financial status by profiting off of Appleseed XIII but were not able to make it. | How on Earth they succeed in bankrupcy, it is incredible, because they had a great material in Appleseed, it sucks when an incapable company creates this kind of masterpieces ( I mean Appleseed) and don't really manage this. If Appleseed Genesis succeeded in creation, I think that when we were visiting the Top Anime page, Appleseed were nr 1 with 9.98. Thank you horrible shitty company for distroying another great anime! We still have Gintama, you know.......... To bad.............................. |

| I like it, but the inevitable comparison to Ghost in the Shell is what always makes this look like shit in comparison. Forget about an Appleseed series, give us MORE new seasons of Ghost in the Shell! I mean, i like it like i said, but it's no GITS. Why fuck with this, when you know everyone will go nuts if they hear production IG are doing another season or two of GITS.. |
