Beyoncé has closed Glastonbury 2011 in style, with a set taking in all of her solo hits, renditions of Destiny's Child favourites and covers of tracks by Kings of Leon, Prince and Alanis Morissette.
With just a silhouette on show, the star kicked off her set with 'Crazy In Love'. Starting the intro slowly, she led into the song with four backing dancers and a fireworks display.
"I want y'all to know that right now, you're witnessing my dream," she said, as she thanked the crowd for having her.
Asking the croud to clap a rhythm, she led the band in a singalong before beginning 'Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)', then welcomed special guest Tricky to the stage for 'Baby Boy'.
Wishing her friend Steve Stoute a happy birthday, she also asked the crowd to join in on singing 'Happy Birthday'.
Beyoncé opened 'If I Were A Boy' with a clip from the song's video, which gave her dancers a chance to change into New York City police costumes, and spliced the track with a burst of Alanis Morissette hit 'You Oughta Know'.
While singing 'Why Don't You Love Me?' she left the majority of the dancing to her male dancers, as she introduced her backing singers who picked out men in the crowd to sing at.
"Y'all feeling alright?" she asked, before embarking on covers of Prince's 'The Beautiful Ones' and Kings of Leon's 'Sex On Fire'.
"I have to say, I'm having a wonderful time," she added as she stayed above the piano to sing new track '1+1'.
Asking the crowd to close their eyes and sing as loud as they could, Beyoncé then played 'Irreplaceable'. Pitting the boys against the girls, and the two sides of the crowd against each other, she let the audience take the lead. Joining in for the odd word, the singer seemed genuinely touched by the participation.
Beyoncé added: "I've done a lot of things in my life but I've never performed in front of 175,000 people," before asking the crowd to share their love for each Destiny's Child member, who she said couldn't make it to Glastonbury for the show.
"There hasn't been a woman headlining Glastonbury for 20 years, so this is history for me," she added, as she played 'Halo' with projections of the crowd in the background. "Can I come up and join y'all?" she asked as she jumped down to sing to the crowd.
Thanking everyone on stage, she extended the love to fellow headliners U2 and Coldplay before finishing 'Halo' and closing the festival for 2011.
