Indiana coach Lin Dunn, whose Fever was 21-13 last season and made the WNBA finals in 2009, was impressed with the Lynx on Tuesday.

Her Fever lost to the Lynx for the second time in eight days, this time 76-70 on their home court.

"I really didn't think we matched (the Lynx's) intensity, their sense or urgency, their (physical play)," Dunn said, according to Indiana's web site. " … We're playing right now in spurts. We're playing well in spurts, we're playing average in spurts, and at times we're not playing well at all."

Indiana committed 16 turnovers and the Lynx scored 26 points off of them.

"Absolutely, the turnovers killed us," Dunn said. "But you have to give (Minnesota) credit. I thought they defended at a really high level. But some of the turnovers were unforced.
"In a lot of ways, Minnesota reminds me of the old Detroit teams that were so physical," Dunn said. "They don't go around you; they go through you. They're knocking you and hitting you and shoving you and jamming you. I think we have to do a better job of matching that type of physical play."

Cheryl Reeve, the second-year coach of the Lynx, is a fomer Detroit assistant.
