Eating momos is like being in heaven: Onir
Director Onir is fulfilling his life long dream of visiting Nepal. Onir is on a travelling spree these days and is in Kathmandu enjoying the beautiful weather and his favourite momos nowadays.
Having left for Nepal on Saturday, the first thing Onir did was eat lots of momos. He tells us, "Eating momos is like being in heaven. I can survive on an all day momo diet."
Onir, who's film "I Am" was also released in Nepal also spent a day with actor Manisha Koirala, who plays a significant role in "I Am".
The film maker also spent a day with the actor and her husband Samrat. Telling us about it Onir said, "I had a lovely evening at Manisha Koirala's and her husband Samrat's house. We had a wonderful time and I met warm and interesting artists, film makers, musicians there. Manisha in fact was so sweet and also came over to attend the premier of "I Am."
Apart from socialising and releasing his film, Onir has been exploring the city and its surrounding very keenly. He visited the famous religious town Patan and also visited the Pashupatinath Temple. "It's a such beautiful temple buy desperately needs restoration as soon as possible," said he. He also visited the abode of the Kumari the living goddess reverred in Nepal. Not happy with the experience Onir wrote on his social networking site, "Visited the abode of the Kumari or the living goddess. Not comfortable with the idea. But beautiful architecture."
He hopes to spend some more of such interesting and beautiful times there in Nepal and we wish that for him too.
