| According to Tokushima Newspaper, anime production studio ufotable was announced to set up a movie theater in the Shinmachi district of Tokushima city. ufotable will mainly show anime in the theater regularly. There has been no theater in the district since 2006. Kondo Hikaru, the President of ufotable, is trying to revive the local industry by attracting young people with anime. | They're helping the industry, while helping themselves (implying it will pay off) - a move worth my praise. And I'd really like to have a theatre showing anime instead of normal films where I live, but... yup, impossible. |

| I remember this similar type of 'animation only' cinema that has opened in 2004, failed epically. Since no there are much more pro-found otaku fanbase + more movies than before, I can see this succeeding. |
