The Forest Of Reading program is Canada's largest recreational reading program. The Ontario Library Association (OLA) offers seven reading programs to encourage a love of reading in people of all ages. How it works: Books are nominated by school and public library professionals. Students read books from the list and then vote for that particular award. Thanks to Lois Peterson for inviting me as a guest to the Ontario Library Association's Forest Of Reading project. Seeing young people get so excited about BOOKS was inspiring! You can find out more about the project at: www.accessola.com/reading
