AUBURN, Alabama -- Starting point guard Morgan Toles is leaving the Auburn women's basketball team.

An Auburn spokesperson said Monday that Toles is transferring from the program. Toles could not immediately be reached for comment.

As a sophomore, Toles started 24 games, including all 14 conference games, averaging 8.6 points, five assists and three rebounds per game.

She started 29 games as a freshman in 2009-2010. Her 128 assists were fifth-best in the SEC and she was named to the conference all-freshman team.

Toles is a native of Fayetteville, Ga., and attended Sandy Creek High School, where she was ranked the No. 4 point guard and No. 27 overall prospect in the nation by ESPN.com.
