You helped choose them and now Lubuntu 11.10 has them.
The five winning wallpapers from Lubuntu’s recent community wallpaper contest have recently landed in the OS.
Amongst the community entries voted for are John Baer’s ‘Lubuntu Moth‘ and ‘Natty Bug‘, and pr09studio’s ‘Glass beauty‘.

The ‘lubuntu-artwork’ package containing the wallpapers above, along with three others, can be downloaded by hitting the button below. Once extracted, the image are to be found in’/usr/share/lubuntu/wallpapers’ folder.
Users of super-wide or HD screens should be aware that the maximum width of wallpapers in the package is 1280 pixels. Head over the respective Flickr pages (links above) for wider versions.
