Never paid much attention to him before, but in the last few weeks I've grown to really like him, and now it's turned into a full blown crush.
I love his personality. He's adorable, cute, polite, quirky, wacky...
Not to mention he looks mega hot without his glasses on!

He reminds me a lot of the film "She's all that", it's almost like the producers encouraged him to dress like a nerd for the first few weeks and then to start wearing contacts and outdoor clothes toward the end.... either that or the man is truly a genius and gave thought to his own character development on the show aswell as performance.
In that case - utopian dream, you're fired!
Just kidding, I was quite surprised that a nerdy guy like Tom can pull off the surfer dude hairstyle we saw during The Final Five.
Yes, yes and thrice yes.
I can definitely see where you're coming from. I've been thinking the same for a good number of weeks now. He's hot...in a really quirky way, but yes!
I think he'd be even better if he put on a bit of weight
He's a hot specky, four eyed geek etc, but how do you know he smells? Do you have some new kind of tv technology?
He seems kind, and intelligent. Not your usual Apprentice candidate. And you know what they say, 'Smart is sexy'!
I just threw up a little in my mouth.
Noticed his lovely smile weeks ago.
Must admit I like him very much regardless of his looks
Tom: "Was Byron writing at the same time as Shakespeare?"
Yeah, that's right, they shared a flat at the Barbican.
[About explorers]
Tom: "We had William Drake"
Yes, and then there were the poets like Sir Francis Blake.
You missed out the part where Christopher Columbus is now British!:D
Although, ironically, i'm pretty sure that Byron WAS a vegetarian for a while!
I did wonder about that but Helen says 'People who have influenced ...', rather than 'British people'.
However, it was Sir Walter Raleigh who brought the potato (and tobacco) back, not Columbus.
But given the pressure and lack of sleep, those are easy mistakes to make.
Shelley was for sure... When Byron ate at the Shelleys' he probably had no choice
Are you after a reaction or are you seriously that ignorant?
I'll reserve judgment on what I think that is all about, given this show's love of reverse editing.
He's OK as he is. He's not skinny. He just has defined bone structure that makes his face look slimmer than it is.
Anyway, it's just a matter of personal taste but no one looks better with any weight on IMO.
Tom has always come across as the most intelligent, intellectual and imaginative of the male contestants.
Besides, you confirmed Tom's suitability as a winner in your last two sentences. LAS is after someone whose business to invest money in, not someone to write an encyclopaedia on the theory of relativity.
I was crushing on him weeks ago, way before he had the Final Five sheen on him to increase his attraction.
I pick them well.
I know!!! I thought it was just me *phew*
Byron was indeed a vegetarian and for a short period, a vegan.
A flatmate reminded me this almost every week as part of his attempt to introduce me to the wonders of vegetarianism.
Are you 10 years old? Poking fun at people with glasses, really?
And have you smelled him? I assume you have, for you to make an assumption like that.
I suppose you're an oil painting
LOL. Byron lived to the ripe old age of 36 so I don't think he's the ideal candidate to demonstrate the advantages of vegetarianism.
Not that I'm saying that his vegetarian/vegan phases shortened his life but at least nowadays, with so much more known about nutrition, you can probably eat more healthily as a vegetarian than otherwise.
I dont think he's that attractive but this is about the show and it's entertainment value for me.
No offence intended, truly, but I do find it confusing when people base their views on who they fancy.
Most oddly, people fancying Jim and therefore ignoring that he's sly and has no discernable integrity, or saying that Melody has a good figure so its ok that she's a liar and doesnt support her peers.
I'm baffled
