The first key art for the forthcoming Sherlock Holmes pic is out.
Warner Bros.’ two posters are fairly similar aside from the fact that Robert Downey Jr.‘s Sherlock Holmes is featured prominently on one and Jude Law‘s Dr. Watson is front-and-center on the other.
On the Downey poster, Sherlock wears a red scarf and holds a pistol while Jared Harris lurks in the background.

The key art featuring Law shows a train in the background as well as a woman in a colorful gypsy skirt. The character is most likely new addition to the franchise, Noomi Rapace, who plays Sim.
Both posters have dark, washed-out tones and state that the movie will be out in December 2011.
Guy Richie returns as the director of the sequel to his 2009 film, which grossed more than $524 million worldwide.
