Synonymical is a set of vocabulary-building puzzles. Synonymical presents you with two words or phrases, and your goal is to determine their synonym. The game gives you a series of boxes, each represents a letter in the synonym. Synonymical automatically fills in the first two or three boxes.
As you are solving the puzzle, only one box is the active box, with the letters of the synonym scrolling through it. When you believe the correct letter is in the active box, use your mouse to click on the active box. The letter will stay in the box and the active box will advance to the next empty box. When you are finished, the computer tells you if you were correct. If you didn't guess correctly, Synonymical will erase your letters and start the game again.
If, while you are solving a puzzle, you want to back up and change some letters, click on the first letter in the word you want to correct. Synonymical will erase the letters to the right of the click, and set the active box to the box you clicked on.
