onTime™ is fast and easy to use, designed with commuters in mind. With onTime, you can look up schedules anytime, anywhere without the need to carry and dig through paper schedules. Simply opening the app displays the schedules and countdown of the next trains. Sign up for commuter notifications to receive the latest outages, delays, and service changes. Be on time and environmentally friendly simultaneously.

Metro North Rail (MNR), Long Island Rail Road (LIRR), Chicago Metra, Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), New Jersey Transit (NJ Transit), Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), Boston Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA), Seattle Sound Transit, Utah Transportation Authority, Virginia Railway Express, Shore Line East, SunRail Central Florida, South Florida Regional Transportation Authority, Caltrain, and more will be added.
onTime is ad-supported. If you choose to purchase onTime Premium to remove ads, payment will be charged to your iTunes account, and your account will be charged for renewal 24 hours before the end of the current period. Auto-renewal may be turned off at any time by going to your settings in the iTunes Store after purchase.
onTime Premium:
- $4.99 USD (or equivalent) per year and may vary from country to country.
- Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
- Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal.
- Subscriptions may be managed by the user, and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

Very good app !!!
Used to use the MTA train time app. It appears the app has developed a number of bugs which cannot be avoided even if you uninstall and reinstall it.
Therefore on my quest for a better app, I came across THIS ONE !! Overall, this app is much better than TrainTime. My rating of four stars versus five stars is because this app could use a few improvements. Most notably, to be more accurate relative to its real time arrivals. While the app comes very close, I have found that it can be off by a few minutes leaving one to have to sprint to catch the train because of the incorrect time listed or, for one to not go for the train because the app says it had arrived when in reality it had not.
However, being a long time train traveler, I can tell you that after using a number of different apps, this is one of the best apps out there.
Very good app - some improvements needed
Enjoy using this app. Gives almost everything one could want tracking trains in and out of GCT. Think it would work fine for other stations. Like that it gives the track number of departing train’s because sometimes they come in on different tracks and thus avoids a scramble. Would like better tracking if trips in progress
Latest upgrade not great
Just took the update today. Not a great experience. The app is continually asking for permission to know my location. Shouldn’t need that.. I was very happy with my default home/work locations repopulated given time of day - it doesn’t do that anymore and doesn’t remember what I typed in previously when I restart. I went to Settings and unchecked some defaults -they don’t save through. I went to Support to give feedback directly (which I have successfully done before) and it won’t let me through without a phone number that they text to validate. Don’t think they need such personal info to continue the good experience I had before the update.
