T-Mobile USA have officially released the OTA update for their T-Mobile G2X (LG Optimus 2X)! The update which will bring in the Android Gingerbread platform to the device is now ready to be installed into your smartphone. Since the update is now available via OTA, your phone should notify you about a new software available for it. The update is expected to give the handset better battery life, improved disabling Car Home, cures the issue about the device rebooting on its own, and an improvement of the operation of the front facing camera.
