A woman jumps for her life from a burning building on another night of violence in London.
The terrified resident had to leap from a first floor window to escape the flames after a massive blaze at Reeves furniture store in Croydon spread to nearby properties.

She sat on an awning as flames licked around her with a small group of police and passers by waiting beneath with their arms outstretched to cushion her fall.
They caught her safely and she ran off, apparently unhurt.
A witness said: “The flames were so fierce the woman had no choice but to jump.”
Other nearby homes had to be evacuated as the Reeves shop was razed to the ground.
Owner Trevor Reeves , 67, said: “Five generations of work gone. My father is distraught. It’s just mindless thuggery.”
