Hello everybody welcome to the five Minutes PM. Podcast Today. I like to discuss one email that I received at a couple of days ago about Failure Failure and one guy said to me, a message asking me, he got a job. I'm starting to work with project management, but I'm really, really Afraid about, Failure about dealing with the possibility of failure.

When I read that email, I said, gut, what are they? You answer to him. And then I start to think, and I'd like to share my thoughts with you. First of all, Failure its one of the vital energies that will have in our lives to be afraid of the Failure, this kind of pain it's visible to keep us alive. And the project management side it's even more.

So if you were Afraid about Failure you can not even work. Imagine work like project managers, because what is the business of the project manager is to work in the limit. There is no easy project. There is no, definitely there is no easy. If you see that are listened to this, Podcast think that your project is easy. Something with your project or you are in the wrong place because all Projects it's based on the DNA of the product, it's this challenge.

It's this limit between what is possible in a lot is impossible. So there is no easy solution for success for companies. So every single company is working very hard to overcome the difficulties and improve their marketplace. And this is all about product. So every single day, when I wake up in the morning Failure is rounding me. And this is narrow. This is part of the life. And we need to be prepared for those words, starting in this business, we need to be aware that the problems that we educate our children only for success and never for failure, but failure is part of life is the natural part of life.

And if you are working in the limit, then the Failure it's evident. It's evident. There is no corporate that didn't fail. So this has part in what is our business is to manage this it's to manage this. I like to give you an example, the concept of entropy entropy, it's a physical and chemical concept. Then the entropy is the level of disorder in a system. And the entropy tends to infinite close late.

And this through our day by day activities, you are home becomes dirty without any effort, but the real clean this up to your home than you need to apply resources and effort because of this, that you have someone that most of your home once a week, twice a week, once a month, to fight against this entropy, to fight against this disorder and try to clean up. Nobody think something like that, Oh, tomorrow the maid will come.

Then let's start putting everything trashed on the floor. Everything or the why she, or he will not have a business to do tomorrow. This is ridiculous because we are trying every single day to kill our home claim. But something happened while, or we are thinking in a lot of things. So this is the law. You need to work extremely hard to make things happen. And this, the positive side of the is that this is our business. This is our business. If every single project is easy, then we don't have any job to do.

We don't have any work. We only have work because it's hard because it's much easier to fail them to succeed. And this is our business. So its to handle with that line of people so that the people that they are not self-motivated, you need to make something like a machine to keep them motivated and committed to the project. You're contractors' is the same as you are deadlines your sponsor. So it a machine. And if you want to fail, I just don't do anything.

And there's is our business. So think about that. Reframe the concept of Failure because if you have paid to fail, you need to rethink your own life. Not only your project management career, but your own life because Failure is something that is in the air every single day for everybody think about that this week. I hope you enjoy this.
