As Mitt Romney prepares for his 2 p.m. close-up with Donald Trump, the DNC is out with a web video slamming the two them and using The Donald’s reality-show catch phrase.

“They do have a lot in common,” according to the ad. “They have both done well for themselves.”

The spot goes on to paint them both as middle-class hating, Medicare-ending rich guys.

Romney committed to the meeting as Trump is getting many of the GOP hopefuls to seek him out.

But Trump has made some fairly rough comments about Romney back when he was flirting with a run of his own - and after.

Among the highlights - blasting Romney for staying out of the debt ceiling fight, saying he can’t win the nomination and challenging his business record.

“My net worth is many, many, many times Mitt Romney,” Trump said. at one point.
