Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am doing this challenge to raise money for Highland Hospice, which is also my employer Summit Web Solutions' 2015 charity of choice. You can read more about the Vietnam & Cambodia Cycle Challenge here. I will also be posting regular updates on my challenge blog.

On the 6th of Feburary I will strap my helmet on and start the 500km cycle from southern Vietnam and up into Cambodia, some days I will be cycling nearly 100km. It's going to be tough, especially with the heat there, but I am confident that all the support I've had will spur me on.

My reason for wishing to raise money for Highland Hospice is that I want to give something back to people in the Highlands. I'm Danish of birth but have lived in the Scottish Highlands for over 25 years, and in all my years here I have found people in the Highlands to be warm and welcoming. Raising these £4000 will be my big “Thank you” to people in the Highlands.

I have started a blog where I will publish regular updates on my fundraising events and challenge updates. Check it out here.
