Samsung intros four new Android Gingerbread smartphones - Galaxy W, M Pro, Y, and the Y Pro


Samsung introduced 4 new Android Gingerbread smartphones ahead of IFA 2011 in Berlin. These new smartphones will be carrying Samsung's new naming strategy. The specs we have on these smartphones are a not so much in details, but regardless of that fact, you can head over the break to check these new smartphones out.




First we have the Samsung Galaxy W. It will be running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread right out of the box and will be sporting a 3.7" WVGA (800x480) touchscreen display, a 1.4GHz processor, a 5MP rear facing camera, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, and a 1500 mAh battery.


Then we have the Samsung Galaxy M Pro. Also runnin on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, it will be sporting a 1GHz processor, a 2.66" HVGA (480x320) touchscreen display, a 5MP rear facing camera, VGA front, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, and a 1350 mAh battery.


The Samsung Galaxy Y will be running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread while sporting an 832MHz processor,a 3" QVGA (320x240) touchscreen display, a 2MP rear facing camera, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, and a 1200 mAh battery.


Last but not least is the Samsung Galaxy Y Pro. Right out from the box the smartphone packing a QWERTY keyboard up front will be running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It will be sporting an 832MHz processor, a 2.6" QVGA (320x240) touchscreen display, a 3MP rear facing camera, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, a microSD card slot, and a 1200 mAh battery.
