Everything you hear about Bali is true and then some. Despite its heavy exposure to tourism, the essence of Bali has not been interrupted. While there are some streets filled with international brand name stores, populated with Western/Asian tourists and Australian Backpackers, the spirit of the Balinese still remains as authentic as ever. 16
