Good : New location instead of New York it takes places in Los Angeles. Different power being used. The cover is amazing. She helps her mom and brother , and there was still school happening.
Bad: Insta love , and this book walks the fine lines of religion in this new world. It does show both sides of Seekers, and the Followers. But that could some readers off from this book.
Overall I thought that this was a good book, and I am glad that I had the opportunity to read it. It does some of the usual tropes with mom being slightly out of it, and dreams and tarot cards play a big part in this book. Thanks Karen for sharing the book
