Samsung unveils 4 Android smartphones - Samsung Galaxy Ace, Gio, Fit, and Mini


Samsung, the almost #1 mobile phone manufacturer (just behind Nokia), have announced 4 new Android smartphones! These smartphones are mid-range phones so you should not expect specs that are at par with those dual-core powered handsets and whatnots. 




4 Android powered smartphones with Samsung's logo on them are bound to hit the planet earth soon! Let me take you one smartphone at a time so we will not confuse ourselves. All of these phones are running on Android 2.2 Froyo.


First is the Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 is for the "trendy and sociable young professionals" and has a 3.5" HVGA touch screen display, a 5 MP rear facing camera, and an 800 MHz processor. The handset is said to be launched across Europe, China and India.

  • Android 2.2 Froyo
  • 800 MHz processor
  • 3G HSDPA
  • 3.5 HVGA (320 x 480) touch screen display
  • Bluetooth 2.1
  • USB 2.0
  • 1, 350 mAh battery
  • WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
  • 5 MP camera with video recording and LED flash
  • AGPS
  • 158 MB ROM and up to 32 GB of storage (microSD)


Next is the Samsung Galaxy Gio S5660 which is expected to be launched in Europe, China and India soon. The handset features a 3.2" HVGA touch screen display, Android 2.2 Froyo, and WiFi.


This is the Samsung Galaxy Fit S5670 which features a 3.6" QVGA touch screen display, WiFi, a 5 MP rear facing camera, and a 600 MHz processor. The phone is expected to be launched soon in Europe, India and South America.



And lastly, the Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 which features a 3.14" QVGA touch screen display, WiFi, and a 600 MHz processor. The phone will be launched soon in European, Indian, and the Chinese markets. 

Samsung said that they will be showcasing these four phones during the MWC 2011 in Barcelona and as expected the Samsung Galaxy S2 will also be unveiled during the same event.
