Explore the Iconic Home
Welcome to the 2023 Iconic Home, a virtual showhouse from Architectural Digest and the Black Interior Designers, Inc. Now in its third installment, this year’s imaginative residence is all about multigenerational living. To that end, Lagos-based Nigerian architect Tosin Oshinowo designed a modernist home—complete with a mother-in-law suite suitable for extended family—while eight superstar Black designers crafted a room inside. Throughout the dwelling, the creative visionaries illuminate the nuances of multigenerational living, spotlighting the latest innovations and ideas defining what it means to live well—together.
