Leadership Circle Meeting Recap
On January 25, 14 members of our Leadership Circle met to share highlights from 2016 and key priorities for 2017. Participants discussed the best strategies for inspiring and motivating all congregations to action, as well as upcoming opportunities for engagement, including the People’s Climate March and ecoAmerica’s American Climate Leadership Summit 2017. Blessed Tomorrow also announced plans to produce a Let’s Lead guide showcasing climate leadership success stories from across the faith sector.

Let's Talk Faith and Climate Guide & Webinar Now Available
On January 26, Rev. Dr. Sharon Watkins, General Minister and President of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) joined Blessed Tomorrow and ecoAmerica in a webinar to present our new Let’s Talk Faith & Climate communications guide. This report, which offers tips for creating value-based messaging and initiating productive conversations about climate with people of faith, is now available for download. ecoAmerica Survey on American Opinions About Trump
Americans voted for President Trump to "Make America Great Again," but the prospects for climate progress will be challenged under his 100-day plan. To get an idea of the national sentiment, ecoAmerica's research team conducted an online survey asking about Trump's priorities and performance in his first two weeks on the job. Only nine percent of Americans think he should limit EPA actions on climate change. And only 31 percent think he's doing a good job so far. The results on Presidential priorities are below.
