Vizio, maker of the GP100-winning M-Series, officially released the 2017 SmartCast E-Series. The entry-level series is aimed at people who want both 4K and HDR (specifically HDR10 support), without paying a month of New York City rent. (The SmartCast E-Series ranging from 32- to 80-inch TVs, but only 55-inch and up are 4K HDR models.) If you’re an avid console gamer or you have an HDR Blu-ray player, these TVs are worthy affordable upgrades. The 55- and 65-inch models go for $700 and $850, respectively; the bigger 75-inch and 80-inch models go for $2,000 (great deal!) and $3,400, respectively.

All Vizio SmartCast E-Series come with Chromecast built in. With the Vizio SmartCast app, users can control the TV from any room in their house. This app is also compatible with Google Home, so you can tell the TV to play something without pressing a button on the remote.
