RE: Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2019-57, Review of mobile wireless services – requests for information regarding the impact of Covid-19 on parties’ positions
Dear Madams, Sirs:
In light of the ongoing Covid-19 situation, whose impact in Canada became more pronounced after the public hearing in February, parties are being provided an opportunity to respond to the requests for information (RFI) attached in Attachment 1.
Parties may file their responses with the Commission no later than 29 May 2020. Parties may request disclosure of any information designated as confidential in these RFI responses no later than 5 June 2020. Replies to requests for disclosure may be filed no later than 12 June 2020.
In Telecom Notice of Consultation 2019-57-2, the Commission indicated that the deadline for final submissions would be suspended until further notice. In this regard, and in light of the additional process being established pursuant to this letter, parties should take note that the Commission is still evaluating an appropriate date for final submissions and will communicate its eventual decision to parties as soon as possible.
