Goodbye to the Ducati legend Paul Smart

Everyone in the UK Ducati family are saddened by the passing of Paul Smart in a road traffic accident on 27th October, 2021. A true legend, for many a hero, Paul was a real friend of Ducati and the entire motorcycling community in the UK and beyond. Many of us share fond memories of Paul, his ever-positive attitude and zest for life brightening up any gathering that he joined. His racing career was long, successful and encompassed many different brands of Motorcycle, while for Ducatisti, he will of course be remembered for his historic win in Imola in 1972. On behalf of everyone at Ducati UK, the UK Dealer network and those many fans and customers of the brand who met and admired Paul over the years, our sincerest condolences go out to his wife Maggie and children, Scott and Paula.
