Survey of Global Health Activities

Global health is defined as, “an area for study, research, and practice that places a priority on improving health and achieving equity in health for all people worldwide” (Koplan et al., 2009). Global health remains a strategic priority of the University of Toronto (UofT) Department of Ophthalmology & Vision Sciences (DOVS), as we strive to achieve equity in global eye health through research, capacity building, and advocacy.
To help us better understand the full spectrum of global health activities led by or involving DOVS faculty, we ask that you kindly answer the following brief survey. Your answers will help us develop an inventory of activities and track departmental impact on global eye health equity.
