Ella Baker Center - Fighting Isolation in CA Prisons (COVID-19)
With the rise of COVID-19 and the subsequent increased isolation in prisons and jails, it is important for us to proactively keep people informed and in connection with the outside. However, with the EBC office being closed following the shelter-in-place order, this is where we need our members and allies to come in.

If you would be interested in helping the EBC team send notes, drawings, handwritten letters, articles or words of encouragement to the folks in prison that we are in touch with please fill out this form.

Once you complete the form, we will send you contact information, the institutional rules regarding mail and some links to documents you can print if you have access to a printer. You will need to have envelopes and postage on hand to participate. You can purchase those through this link: https://store.usps.com/store/home. If you do not have access to stamps and envelopes and would still like to help out, please email Emily at emily@ellabakercenter.org, so we can try and figure out a way to get you involved. Please refer any questions to Emily, with "Prison Mail" in the subject line.
