I have a problem with these reports. I think they're focussed on regulations and bequeathments for people looking for a quick fix, who think they know nothing about the Web, but in fact probably have quite a good understanding of it.

Shouldn't we empower parents to recognise that they do understand the online world (see for example Facebook), instead of problematising it by framing it as a place where Kids Go Wild?
