Not only have pictures begun to emerge of Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg's visit to China and the country's top Internet companies, now videos have come out as well. Below is a short video of Zuckerberg visiting Sina Corp, from China-based gadget blog M.I.C. Gadget:
Zuckerberg appears to be entering the offices with Sina CEO Charles Chao (pictured on the right), when a few employees approach the Facebook CEO asking him to autograph their sign. This was presumably taken during Zuckerberg's trip to Beijing last week. Sina spokesperson Liu Qi told Bloomberg that Zuckerberg and Chao met for an "information exchange on the Chinese Internet market." Zuckerberg also visited Internet search company Baidu, and according to rumors, China Mobile.
Facebook's CEO has since moved on to Hangzhou, where he visited e-commerce company Alibaba. There is a video clip of that visit as well, again, presumably taken by an employee, and uploaded to Youku, China's version of YouTube. See M.I.C. Gadget for that clip as well as a bunch of other photos from Zuckerberg's China trip. And my colleague Gady Epstein has a great analysis about how Facebook will inevitably follow Zuckerberg into China.
