IaC brought declarative power, but at the cost of fragmented scripts, provider-specific declarations, and manual orchestration. At this session you will discover a better future-forward solution - Infrastructure from Code (IfC). IfC is an elegant paradigm, supported by some new-age open source solutions, that automatically infers infrastructure requirements by analyzing application code, allowing it to provision tailored, secured environments without explicit declarations. We'll unpack the technical innovations allowing IfC to handle provisioning and configuring cloud resources, freeing developers from infrastructure drudgery so they can focus on shipping."

It’s efficient, but it does make you wonder: Why isn't this built into `kubectl` itself? 2/ Restish: A CLI for RESTful APIs - Restish aims to be a streamlined way to interact with REST APIs, even if `curl` and `HTTPie` already do the job. It's a slick tool, but maybe we need to question if we’re over-complicating things just to add another shiny tool to our stack. 3/ `cast-text`: A Terminal-Based Full-Text News Reader - Brings back RSS feed reading to your terminal, making you feel like it's 1999 again but in a good way. It’s the kind of back-to-basics experience that reminds you why the terminal is still a developer's best friend. Reflection: Moving Forward by Looking Back - There’s comfort in these CLI tools, and they are a reminder of a simpler time. Yet, we can't ignore that these new text-based tools come with their complexities, hiding layers beneath their minimalist surface. This is a notable increase in the number of S3 buckets that a single account can have, and I could see this being a welcome improvement for folks that use a lot of S3 buckets. It should be mentioned that with this change comes the possibility of a new fee, $0.02 per additional general purpose bucket (when you have more than 2,000 S3 buckets in your account).
