Millie Bonham, has been singing Gospel Music since the age of three. She and her Sisters "The Bass Sisters," traveled all over the South with their Dad, an old fashion Baptist Preacher, singing everywhere from tent revivals to large auditoriums.
Millie`s love for Gospel Music and for God is still evident today. She currently takes Solo Bookings as well as managing The Group, Millie Bonham and Assurance.
Millie was one of the first females to host Gospel Music Radio Programs, and did so for over 18 years, both locally and on the World Wide Internet. The Name of her Programs were well known as “Southern Gospel Jubilee.”
She owns BBBPromotions, promoting Gospel Music Concerts in some of the largest Venues in Huntsville, Alabama as well as Southern Tennessee.
She has been active for the past 28 years hosting Monthly Gospel Concerts for the Downtown Rescue Mission, bringing Groups, Choirs and Soloist from across the Southeast to perform, with all proceeds going to the Mission. She has been honored "Volunteer of The Year" at Banquets for The Downtown Rescue Mission.
Millie is booked by various Organizations, Groups and Churches to speak. Her background as the 10th child of a poor family who didn’t have much material things, but did have an overflowing of love, gives the listeners an interesting array of topics.
As a Writer, she has several books to her credit. “Spirit of The Season” has the same name as the Grand Finale Concert which takes place each year the first or second Friday in December, featuring all of the Groups who have performed during the course of the year at the Downtown Rescue Mission. This Concert has been taking place for the past 28 years, as well.
“Good News Connection” is a Publication made up of her writings, which she makes available to Missions, Hospitals, Jails, Nursing Homes, etc. She also has a Publication under the same name, in which she previously sent out to over ten thousand two to three times monthly via the internet.
Millie was the Minister of Music at The University Nazarene Church in Huntsville for seven years...
Millie says, " I simply want others to see God in me and give others an opportunity to have a life changing experience as a result of something I sing, write, say or do.
