Favorite Pokémon Tournament 2015 - Ghost

Me vote goes to Giratina and Chandelure. Chandelure was a huge staple to one of my runs and I have grown to like it's concept. As for Giratina see my post in the dragon poll.

Misdreavus & Mismagius - Mismagius is one of my favourites of the newer evolutions introduced in Gen IV, it really gave me an incentive to use Misdreavus.

Shuppet & Banette - Not really sure what it is about Banette, but I just love the design. I haven't properly used one before but I love the whole creepy possession concept behind it.

Froslass - Quite possibly my favourite Ghost-type, I adore everything about Froslass.

Honedge, Doublade & Aegislash - I wasn't too much of a fan of Honedge from the start when it was initially revealed. Since discovering Aegislash in game, I just changed my opinion on the whole line completely. I absolutely love the set up you can give to Aegislash, it has an awesome movepool and a killer ability.

Needs more Hoopa.

Cofagrigus and Gengar here... Cofag is the best Ghost-type of gen 5 and Gengar is my 4th favourite Pokemon after Weavile, Crobat and Rhyperior.

I don't really use ghosts but I guess Gengar gets my vote.

This, Confined Hoopa is partly ghost type and it wasn't in the psychic poll so why it isn't in this poll? Is it then in the Dark poll (Unbound Hoopa is partly Dark type)?

It has really good role in the 4th gen games.

Giratina, for it's story and design.

Giratina and Pumpkaboo <3 I love the move "trick or treat".

Gengar/Haunter - These two were just amazing in the original games, basically unbeatable. Carried my team whenever i used them. The addition of Gengar's mega just added to its luster and really made me re-fall in love with it. Haunter was basically due to Ash's in the anime, it was so funny! {XD}

Dusknoir - Really didn't like it when it first came out but then Mystery Dungeon came out and i really loved it character and got a good idea of its power. Now its in my top 3 for Ghost Pokemon and I haven't looked back.

If I'm looking for a Ghost type, these are the first ones I look for.

That's 100% my fault for using a slightly outdated list to create the polls. Hoopa's now been added to the main poll with 2 votes (if anyone who's picked already wants to add a vote for Hoopa, let me know!).

Litwick Line was the one line that I decided to choose for this Poll! I love other Ghost types, I'll let you know, but Litwick just tops all of them by a mile. I don't know what it is but I just find a little ghost candle really adorable and its evolutions are great too imo.

Not much a fan of any ghost types honestly..

I'd probably like Gengar more if i ever legitimately acquired 1.

I did get a lot of solid usage out of Jellisent, Mismagius and Cofagrigus

Honedge line is really interesting as well.

Not many I said here, given this is the smallest type (yeah even Fairy is a tad bit bigger) but oh well, here's my fave spookies.

Sableye: I started loving it more when the Mega was released, and I do find it cute with its diamond eyes.

Drifloon line: One of two Ghost-types I have now caught a shiny of, being my first natural shiny in X. Otherwise, I love these cute balloons because not all ghosts are scary.

Froslass: Mainly voted for her interesting type combination and the fact she's designed from the Yuki-onna.

And I voted every 5th and 6th Gen option as well. Those gens had some damn awesome and unique Ghost-types.

Gengar line - Haunter's one of my top five favorites. Just love its design so much. The next time I acquire I Gastly, I plan to evolve it only once.

Giratina - Very high on my favorites list. I love its story, its typing, its power, and especially its design. Both forms are amazing. It's so fierce and badass. I occasionally contemplate calling it my favorite design of all Legendaries.

Rotom - I have always had a particular soft spot for Rotom ever since I had a dream about encountering and befriending one in the Old Chateau back around Gen IV.

Honedge line - The typing is unique and cool. But other than that, they're Pokémon that are swords. Literally just swords. How cool is that? Simplistic in concept, but I think the designs are amazing. Plus, they all have diverse, cool names.

As for the others. Sableye has always been one of my favorites, and I love its Mega. Litwick and Phantump are just too cute to resist (and their evolutions are pretty cool too). I really like Shedinja's design, and it is in many, many ways one of the most unique Pokémon ever. It only has 1 HP, and its ability prevents it from being damaged by everything but super-effective attacks...quite a double-edged sword there. Not only that, but it has the oddest evolution method in the series (at least until Malamar)- you have to have at least one Poké Ball in your bag when Nincada evolves into Ninjask. I'm a little fond of the Misdreavus family and Shuppet. And Hoopa is pretty adorable.

Overall, my favorite ghostie is a tie between the first three I mentioned above.

Although im not a big fan of ghost types the Aegislash and Trevanant lines really impressed me in gen 6 with some cool type combinations as well as being pretty dang powerful (plus Aegi's shiny form is amazing)

Drifloon and Litwick/Chandelure are my picks. :> I've always loved Drifloon and I really fell in love with the latter line when I played gen 5, too. Chandelure is so pretty and Litwick is adorable. They have such gorgeous shinies too! Drifloon I like mainly because it was a decent flying Pokémon in my favourite gen and I liked its day-of-the-week gimmick. :P

I was tempted to throw in a vote for Pumpkaboo because I think it's adorable but I've still... never actually trained one. D: So maybe next time I'll have built up some actual attachment to it.

Gengar is the only choice for me. I don't exactly LOVE it as I do with many choices in other types, but it is probably in my top thirty favourite pokémon. I'll say the same thing I said about the ground types, I don't seem to like this type overall.

I picked Misdreavus, Drifloon, and Rotom.

Ever since DPPt I've loved both Drifloon and Rotom, Drifloon because I always thought it was adorable and Rotom because it is just a cool type combination and has an interesting encounter method. Misdreavus is a Pokémon that I've come to appreciate more recently, mostly because I like the ghost/"witch" aesthetic of the line.
