    Welcome to the third annual Favorite Pokémon Tournament here in Pokémon General, where our goal is to determine the favorite Pokémon of the users here at the PokéCommunity! This will be a tournament that lasts several months, where we'll pit almost all the Pokémon from different types together to determine a winner. After we know the winner of each type, we'll add all of those Pokémon to a final poll, where the winner(s) will be crowned champion, and be known as PokéCommunity's favorite Pokémon!

    Ninetales is such an elegant Pokemon... and uh... I'm kinda biased for nine-taled foxes sooo...

    Reshiram has the honor for being the first Fire/Dragon type. It's probably one of the most beautiful Pokemon ever, I felt in love with it upon its first revelation. Oh man, that's been years now, hasn't it? Still amongst my top 3 legendaries. <3

    Magmortar-I like the ge4 evos, and this one was a major beast in TRBG. Won't reveal too much cause spoilers.

    Chandelure-See the ghost poll. If you didn't let me say this, it was good in one of ny runs and I grew to like the design.

    Reshiram-This guy>>>>>>overrated electric dragon. This was the first and possibly the only time where I didn't need to decide which version to pick, and it's useful in battle.

    Silently prays that the Cyndaquil line gets as least votes as possible.

    I actually voted for all of them because all of these Fire type Pokemon really stand out to me, and the Fennekin line is my most favorite.

    • Flareon, Ho-Oh, and Victini for sure. Flareon is the absolute cutest thing (as is Victini) while Ho-Oh has an amazing design and is dear to my heart since I love its backstory and Ecruteak. :D But my top will probably always be Flareon - it might not be the most useful eeveelution with its movepool but design-wise it's lovely.

    For a long time, Fire was my favorite Pokemon type.

    Obviously I voted for the Charizard family. It's always been my favorite of the Kanto starters because fire! and dragon! and flying! and Salamander!! Charizard has never let me down in all my various playthroughs that I've used one. It's just an ol' standby.

    To the point that my Charizard from FireRed replaced my Talonflame in Y. Nothing wrong with Talonflame. It even got my vote in this poll because it also served me well in my playthrough up to the point of Charizard's return.

    And then I voted for the Chandelure family. I've never used one, but it's a Fire/Ghost type Pokemon and that's pretty darn awesome.

    I should have tossed a vote to Ho-Oh because I love Johto's mythology and spent years reading up on it. :(

    Moltres will always be "the" fire type to me. It's a flaming bird. What more could you ask for? It also has (or had) that anime significance as the mascot for the Pokemon League with the whole torch thing, and it just. Looks. So. Awesome.

    • I put my vote down for the Houndour line and the Litwick line. I've liked Houndour since the first time I saw it before GS came out (although Houndoom is kinda meh for me). The Litwick line I already gushed about when I voted for it in the ghost category. :>

    • Cyndaquil line - I will always hold the Johto starters near and dear to my heart. First starters i ever experienced.

    Chimchar line - Favorite starter line of all time ( though Froakie's may give it a run once i try it out), and its place in the anime was amazing

    Victini - Love using it competitively, so darn cute and its role in its movie was cool.

    • Charmander line - The classic Fire starter line. I just feel like a vote for these guys is mandatory

    Torchic line - Speed Boost + Protect is too good

    Reshiram - Majestic Dragon is majestic

    Fletchinder and Talonflame - The first regional bird with a final form that's not Normal/Flying. My favorite after the Starly line

    Ninetales - I mean, she's just absolutely amazing. Her design is simply beautiful and I just love using her on any team make!

    Ho-Oh - As one of the first Pokemon I ever knew and the first legendary Pokemon I knew, Ho-Oh will always, always have a special place in my heart, even if he burns it down and makes dogs out of it.

    Infernape - Not much to say here that I haven't already said in the Fighting type poll :p

    Delphox - A psychic type starter was a dream come true and Delphox just does it too well.

    Reshiram - One of my favourite legendary Pokemon. Simply magnificent.

    Vulpix/Ninetales - Love the myths behind the nine-tailed foxes and it has a great role in Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team.

    Houndour/Houndoom - I'm basically using these two as my mascot here on PC. They're great Pokémon and a good match to my username.

    Litwick/Lampent/Chandelure - I love these guys, probably my favorite Pokémon in existence. They're just quirky, creepy, cool and good special attackers. Perfect!

    Fennekin/Braixen/Delphox - Magic, that's all I have to say. :D

    I can't believe I'm the only one voting for the "others" option. There's even two families absent I want to vote for: Slugma/Magcargo and Numel/Camerupt.

    Cyndaquil line, Victini, Litwick Line, and Fletchinder/Talonflame all get my vote, though really if it comes down to it I guess Litwick would have to be my absolutely top I felt like voting for a few other little favorites as well this time around. For all of these it's because they're adorable, Litwick I spoke about in the ghost one, aaand Fletchinder is best bird okay bye.
