Favorite Pokémon Tournament 2015 - Flying

Alright! one of my favorite types! So many to choose from! I love them all so much! I did manage to vote for my top 3, this may have taken me about 30 minutes to do however but i could't go any lower than 3.

Gligar line - This love is professed in the Ground type poll but one of my favorite Pokemon lines ever

Taillow line - again one of my favorite pokemon lines ever, can't do a run in RSE and ORAS without them, literally unable to do it, 100% odds of being in my team. Second, Swellow is my Contest superstar. Third, Swellow is my favorite Flying type. Lastly, Swellow in the anime was just amazing.

Starly line - Not as highly regarded as the other two for me, but still a solid third choice. Great battler and its role in the anime was great. Staraptor is just fierce and intimidating, perfect partner for my style.

I love a lot of these Pokemon, but I didn'T vote for them all because I don't really consider some my favorite "flying". Like Gyarados. I love it! But it is not myf avorite flying, it is my favorite Water type. Yanmega is more bug to me. I voted for Archeops in the rock type. Mantine is more water type for me too.

I voted Ho-Oh, because it is myf avorite Legendary.
I voted for Pidgeotto, because of the ANime.
And I voted for Noctowl, he's my favorite bird overall.

I didn't vote for Xatu, but he's one I really like too.

Voted for all of them. Flying is my most favorite type.

HEY WHERE ARE THUNDURUS AND LANDORUS

voted for talonflame, staraptor and zapdos here, they represent the flying-type really well.

I love a lot of flying types so I could easily vote for all of these, but I've restricted myself to voting for ones that are my absolute favourites.

I went with Pidgeot, Moltres, Lugia and Ho-Oh. These are all in my top twenty favourite pokémon. Pidgeot is probably my favourite amongst these, obviously it's a species that has been in a lot of my in-game teams and comes with pure nostalgia. I probably would have included Charizard, but I decided to leave him out as a tactical vote so that hopefully he doesn't win the tournament again.

I like Staraptor, but I'm surprised it's this popular!

Edit - I would also have voted for Tropius who is in the other poll this week.

I hit other because I think my favourite flying type is Drifloon. :D It's one of those great Pokemon that's adorable but with a really creepy Pokedex entry. It kidnaps little children!

I like a lot of flying types though. Drifloon might be my favourite but it's not by a whole lot. I also really like Tropius, Noibat/Noivern, Woobat, Crobat, Xatu, Hoppip line, and... the list goes on. xD;

Hard to believe we're now in the penultimate week before the finale, but here's my best Flying Pokemon.

Doduo line: One of the few 1st Gen choices I voted, but I guess it's because I like its design or something? Or the fact a certain challenges friend of mine here had one that did so good in his X Wedlocke?

Articuno: Of the legendary birds, this was the one I loved best. Ice-types are always beautiful.

Togetic and Togekiss: To make up for losing the Fairy-type poll to Sylveon, I'll vote it here as well. And it's still a fave today.

Murkrow line: One of my faves here, especially Honchkrow's design and attacking power. Oh and it has one heck of a cool hat.

Gligar line: Voting this one for Ben (Achromatic) but also because it's a great defensive player competitively.

Ho-Oh and Lugia: The first mascot duo that I loved both of, and they each have their traits so couldn't exactly pick one over the other.

Taillow line: When the early birds really started getting good, being a speedy glass cannon who reaches real power when it's crippled.

Swablu line: One of my fave 3rd Gen Pokemon, so not surprising here.

Starly line: Always been an option when I played Sinnoh games, because it stays consistently good throughout the game... oh and it can whoop you with a Close Combat or a Brave Bird to the face.

Emolga: I voted it in the Electric-type poll for my love of Pikaclones, so no surprise I vote for it again in its other type as well.

Rufflet line: 5th Gen had some nice Flying-types, especially this American stereotype. Oh, and in White 2 you can get an early one that has a HA and strong moves all over.

And I also voted all the 6th Gen options as well, more great flyers in there too.

If you guys vote Charizard out again I will be ashamed of this community.

Skarmory for being the first of its kind and looking so cool the first time I saw it
Braviary for looking so cool and its pre-evolution, Rufflet, is darn cute.

Even though Skarmory doesn't have an evolution or is an evolved Pokemon, I really like the idea of it's design. I would never use one on my team, but I love it as a pokemon in general. Also, The togepi line is my favorite gen 2 evolution line and I try to include in my team whenever I can. Altaria is basically my aesthetic and Noivern is just very cool and very powerful.

Well, Skarmory and Lugia are both in my top 10 favourite pokémon, so I voted for them.

LUGIA is just awesome. its the only flying who gets my vote, hope it wins :3

Skarmory forever!

Usually I have to vote for several Pokemon, but Skarmory's my favorite flying type, hands down.

Wish it got more love in the form of...something. Pre-evolution, mega evolution, something.

Guys Pidgeot isn't too useful..

I decided to vote for Staraptor and other. There were plenty of flyers who I like but didn't make it to the list.

Not a type I use a lot in truth. I voted for:

Altaria line - My favourite flying type. It has a majestic design, got a reasonably big role in ORAS being Lisia's Pokemon. And I love its Shiny colouration which I have one of.

Emolga - Electric/Flying is a Great typing and it is ridiculously cute

Gotta give Noivern for a vote because I like its speed and it is dragon type too.

Lugia would be my second choice because it is a legendary pokemon and it is also my favorite pokemons too.
