Favorite Pokémon Tournament 2015 - FINALE

Alright boys and girls, the time is finally here. After 3 months of voting on your favorite Pokémon of each type, it's now time do decide this year's champion in the third annual Favorite Pokémon Tournament finale!

A big thank you to everyone who participated in the polls this year, as your votes always count. And of course, be sure to post who you voted for in the finale as well, as you'll be eligible for a special emblem that will be revealed at the conclusion of this week's voting.

But with that said, happy voting, and may the best Pokémon win!

Oh boy! this is so exciting! I wonder who will win!
Well to start things off, I'm voting for three of my favorite Pokemon all time. *drum roll*

The Treecko line! - this is my second favorite starter line all time, and has my favorite mega evolution is Sceptile. Anymore it is very difficult for me to do a run in RSE or ORAS and not choose this line for the sheer joy it brings me not to mention the badassery it has lol

Second is the Cyndaquil line! - this line, though not my favorite, is also home to many memories since it was part of my first experiences playing Pokemon in Crystal and Silver. The nostalgia i have for it brings back so of the best memories I have.

And Lastly, its Gible! - this Pokemon is just so darn adorable and has really grown on me the past few weeks. This little tyke is a surprising menace in battle while still keeping its adorableness at full capacity. Gible is just so intriguing to me as a Pokemon, thus why it has risen up the ranks for me.

I mainly voted only for the ones that really mattered to me here. It is sad we have no 5th Gen Pokemon contesting this year's championship, but there's always 2016 to look for.

Lapras: One of the few 1st Gen options I voted for, but that's mainly because I love its type and the fact it loves people riding on it.

Eevee & Sylveon: I would have voted all the Eevee line contenders here, but I mainly wanted to focus on these two because they're the ones I liked most.

Mareep line: I vote for the cute stuff, so no surprise here. This line has always been one of my fave Electric-types as well.

Ralts line: One of my fave 3rd Gen-based lines, and I loved Gardevoir even more now that the line had Fairy-type added on because it made them significantly better.

Aron line: I love this big guy, I don't know why. Plus I do think Aron is cute.

Snorunt line: I really love Ice-types with some interesting design, and this line is definitely one of them.

Froakie line: My second fave Water-type starter, and my fave of the Kalos trio. I love the ninja theme to the line, and it never failed me in my X playthrough.

This time my votes will be going to the following:

Aron line
Beldum line
Gible line
Froakie line

I had to restrict myself to one vote this time. As much as I love many of the pokémon on the list, I can only choose the Cyndaquil line as Typhlosion is my favourite of all 721.

Other lines I'd love to see win if Typhlosion doesn't - Bulbasaur line, Lapras, Dragonite line or Sylveon.

Okay, on a serious note, aside from Shitphlosion, and a few others these are some decent winners. I voted for Jolteon, Ampharos, Scizor, Aggron, Umbreon, Metagross, Garchomp, and Greninja.

Uhhh, anyway, heres what I voted for

Gallade, etc. - I have always loved the concept of Gallade (My arm is my sword!), and loved the sheer wallbreaking power of Gardevoir. Combine those two, and you have my top pick on this list.

Froslass, etc. - I despise Gallade with all my being, but Froslass has served me so well over the years, competitively and in-game, that it had to be said.

Jolteon - RIP Leafeon and Glaceon. Jolt was my first Eeveeloution, and I needed to throw an Electric type up there. The Mareep line is just baaaaad (pun completely intended)

Typhlosion, etc. and Venusaur, etc. - Im throwing these two together because they are on the list for the same 2 reasons. 1) in-game memories (In Venu's case, beating it with a Lv17 Spearow). 2) Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness (Bulba) and Sky (Cynda).

THINGS THAT DO NOT DESERVE TO BE THERE:
Greninja, etc. - Sooooo overrated
Lugia - If you are only putting 1 Legendary on the list, make it something that doesn't suck please
Eevee - Just no. Give me an actual Normal type, please
Sceptile, etc. - Of all the Grass starters not named Venusaur, you chose SCEPTILE? Come on PC, show more Torterra love

I must say, you guys must want such a lively tournament, adding in so many decent contenders of such variety. Venusaur, Ampharos and Metagross look pretty strong and Lucario is pretty much the P/D/Pt version of Pikachu. (Riolu and Pichu both hatch from an egg, get it?) I've seen at least a comment discouraging Lugia. (SS was awesome, shame upon you haters.)

Also, do I have to say it? I was really the only person who voted for Dragonite? No love for the original Dragon? Dragonite was there before we had Dragon Legendaries. The new legends owe their gratitude to the Dratini Line who paved the way in the Dragon Category. I'm kinda upset, but w/e. It's the world's fault if Dragonite doesn't win.

The show-stopper, I expect, is my good friend, Cyndaquil/Quilava/Typhlosion. I'm starting HG soon and will start with that one. If the Cyndaquil Line doesn't win, I'll cry.

Garchomp and Gengar, and that's it from this selection.

Most of my favorite Pokemon are in the list, and I like it.

I voted for the Froakie line, Umbreon, Sylveon and Lapras.

If I had to pick only one my vote would easily go to the Froakie line, good moves and awesome names and design! Froakie is such a cutester, Frogadier sophisticated and Greninja just plain cool! :)

In unranked order, I voted for Gengar, Scizor, Ampharos, Lugia (awesomest legendary!), Ralts line, and last but not least, Garchomp!

I was surprised to see Lugia as the only legendary on there, but it's great! Mostly for non-gameplay roles and backstory, but it's no slouch as a Pokemon fighter either.

Sorry to see no Nidoking or Heatran though :(

Since Mewtwo isn't in the final, I vote Gardevoir, it was second in the last year so now it's its time to win (hopefully 2016 is Mewtwo's turn).

Tough choices but I voted for the Ralts and Snorunt lines. Gardevoir, Froslass, and Glalie are among my all time favorites so it was a good choice!

I just hope Gengar doesn't win it again :[

Agreed, even Brendan admitted he doesn't want to make another Gengar emblem so I do hope something different wins the championship again.

I think you guys know what I voted for, and that's all I really voted for.

This has been really fun to participate in the last several weeks :) Already can't wait for it to roll around again next year!

I picked Eevee and the Eeveelutions, Haunter line, Ampharos line, Lapras, Typhlosion line, Dragonair line, Aron line, and Lucario line. As much as I like the Ralts line, I'd rather like to see someone else win this one :z
